Service Pack 3 for Windows XP
Service Pack 3 for Windows XP was the last major update package for this system. It included all fixes and improvements from the earlier SP1 and SP2, as well as additional security updates, support for WPA2 Wi-Fi encryption, and stability and compatibility fixes with newer software. It did not introduce significant visual changes, focusing instead on security and performance. Installing SP3 was recommended to keep the system fully supported until the end of official support in 2014.
