Site goal

The purpose of this website is to archive and list software and add-ons for Windows XP (mainly Service Pack 3), while preserving the classic XP color scheme and ensuring that it can be run on the default browser, Internet Explorer 6!

How did it start?

The first draft of the website was created on July 26, 2025, as a sketch in Paint — kind of a developer’s concept drawing. From there, things took off: building and testing different styles for the site, deciding on navigation layout, researching programs, testing them, creating unique descriptions, and taking screenshots.
